He nodded. His face slightly annoyed. "I'm only hard on them when i'm around them a lot and when i ask for a chance away they argue against it." he said simply. His eyes falling on the broom closet he moved over and pulled out his own. "Which one is yours again?" he asked. Smiling back at her as he pulled out her broom. "It's not this one is it?" he said playfully.

She could see he was a little annoyed but it was her opinion. Of course she could understand where he was coming from. Maybe he just wanted some space. He pulled out his broom and then asked which as hers. Before she could answer he pulled hers out. She gave him a grin, "Yes, I believe that is mine." Zara said reaching for her broom. It was her baby and she felt uncomfortable with anyone else handling it.

He chuckled. "That's good." he said as he looked at her. "So, How does the Three Broomsticks sound?" he said chuckling as he waited for her to mount her broom. His already mounted. "I was wondering something else as well." he said as he looked at her curiously.

Zara took her broom and mounted it before saying, "The three broomsticks sounds good to me." The staff were on good terms with the students meaning that they never got caught out for being off grounds. "What is it?" Zara asked him. She kicked off from the ground and was hovering waiting for Matt to tell her what he was thinking.

He smiled as he kicked off. His fingers on the broom he looked at her. "Lets go." he said. "I think I'll just ask you later. maybe once we get better aqqaunted." he said as he started to fly toward Hogsmeade.

Zara furrowed her brow but Matt had already started to fly off and Zar set off after him. She flew slightly higher, taking a look over the grounds as she went. If there was a place she felt at home it was on a broom. She had contemplated a career in Qudditch but didn't know if it would be stable enough. As she reached the village Zara lowered herself and then landed near the Three Broomsticks pub waiting for Matt to join her.

He landed next to her. His eyes on hers. "So, Tell me something. What do you know about Voldermort?" he asked. The voice in his head suddenly silent as it listened to him speak. "I mean, What do you think about his policies and thoughts on the muggle world?" He asked her as he opened the door for her. his broom in hand as he waited for her to walk into the pub

When she heard Matt speak she perked up but not in a good way. There was an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach. The only time that name was brought up was in the History of magic classes. She walked through the door and took a breath before saying quietly. "He didn't like Muggles. Or squibs and half breeds." She did not know a lot about him but what she did know she was not impressed with. "Why are you even asking?" Zara asked shortly.

"Well, I was wondering what you thought of it." he said simply. "He had some good ideas about Wizard and Muggle relationships. But I don't think he did a good job of trying to rule them." he added as he looked at her. His hand closing the door behind them as he moved in toward a table. "Butter beer alright?" he asked her as he pulled a chair out for her.

The grin that had been on her face had dropped off and replaced with a frown. "Yeah a butter beer." Zara took a seat trying to think about what he had just said. Surely he wasn't saying... "I think he was an idiot. What do you mean some of his ideas were good? Like what?" Sure Z didn't spend much time in the Muggle world but she had no problem with them.

He looked down at her and grabbed two butterbeers before sitting. AS he looked over at her he smiled. "Well I think that he was right in the fact that Wizards shouldn't have to hide from the world. That we should be a part of it." he said as he opened the two butterbeers and set hers in front of her. "as well as I think that we should have a place at the top of society. We do after all. Have the power and skills to both help and destroy things. We could End wars. Cure diseases and get rid of hunger." he said as he looked at her.

Zara just shook her head. "Yeah ok we shouldn't have to hide. But that's partially so we're safe. Do I have to remind you of the Salem witch hunts. Some people can't keep themselves under control." Some people in the wizarding world were just stupid. They didn;t know how to conduct themselves and just made a mess. "We're no more superior than anyone else." Zara told him sharply. "We don't choose to be wizards just like they don't choose to be muggles."

He chuckled. "Being safe in the world that we live in isn't something that I go for. I'd rather be able to be out in the open. Not hiding what I am from everyone." he said. "If I go to a job place and ask for a job. I want to be able to use my gifts the way I can. Not have to hide what I've done just to make a muggle able to be around me." he said simply. "besides think about it. Most muggles are already living in a fantasy world. They are always those who would actually stand up and help us. Rather then hunt us. Besides. They would have to know that the witch hunts wouldn't hurt us. Remember we have ways of not burning at the stake. What's her name allowed herself to be caught almost 15 times and 'burned at the stake' each time." he said. "And the muggles didn't catch on. Think about what we could do to each department in the government. we could revolutionize the world in a way muggles couldn't without going to war over it." he said.

"I don't see the problem to be honest with you. We have a world separate from Muggles. No troubles. If we want to integrate we should just respect them and not use magic in front of them." Zara said to him. These arguments were sounding scarily similar to the ones her father would have with her and her brother. He had a point of course with real witches and wizards being able to escape any hunts, "I think you just proved my point about being careless." Zara told him with a sniff.
"Oh yeah! Because we obviously know how to cope without war don't we. Must I remind you what happened over two decade ago. All due to that pratt who you like the ideas of." Zara was trying to stay calm but in her opinion Matt was being very stupid. Voldemort had been stupid. He wasn't being serious though, was he?

"See, That's it. Hiding isn't being part of the world. It isn't being out there. Doing things for the betterment of humankind as a whole. We are only doing things to better Witches and Wizards. If we bettered the whole world wouldn't the muggle population be helped out as well?" he asked. "I'd rather see Everyone bettered then watch as one group or the other advanced. Because I'm pretty sure that if us magic folk took a place in the leadership of the world. Wars would be over. Sure wars might be fought still. But at the same time. Wars are fought over food. Land and religion. Couldn't we solve that. The Sahara desert alone covers the northern third of the continent. Maps from back almost four hundred years show it a fourth that size. We could revert all that land back into habitable. We could bring crops to the malnourished nations and all the muggles would have to worry about is trade and commerce." Matt said as he looked at her. "Why shouldn't we take a larger role. Carelessness would be avoided. Think about it. If Witches and Wizards stepped out all over the world. The muggles wouldn't be able to stop us let alone destroy us. Magic Folk are born each year." he said. "We are almost as common place as muggles but we hide."
