Zara pinched the bridge of her nose as she listened to Matt. Sure she understood where he was coming from. They had the tools to fix a lot of problems. But she knew for a fact that if they went and did those things there would be more problems arising. Z just couldn't agree with what Matt was saying. "You know even if we could help, there is no way on earth you'd get every wizardaring ministry to agree." Zara told him. She stopped pinching her nose and shook her head.
"You're a dreamer Matt, but it's not going to happen. Face it. We can't solve our own issues in this world let alone trying to step into the muggle one." Zara reminded him. There were still blood status and breed issues. He was crazy to think any of what he said was doable and even though he was trying to make it seem like they would be doing good, in the pit of her stomach she felt uncomfortable that the stem of these ideas had been from Voldemort.

He looked at her. "Well, I guess it's a good thing I'm planning on joining the ministry next year to try and get my ideas pushed forward. Maybe even run for minister." he said as he looked at her. His hand lifting the bottle of Butter Beer to his lips and taking a drink. "We can't solve our own issues because we don't have a unified government over the wizarding world. If we managed to combine the governments off all wizarding communities and then have an election to select a Minister of Magic." he said. "Maybe then we could have all the communities come together to support my plan. And if some communites don't accept the idea of a unified government we just take them by force and put them into it." Matt said as he smiled at her. "Dreams are good though. They are the force that paves the way to change."

She bit her lip but couldn't help but laugh. "You're going to run for minister? Good luck. There are people in top jobs who don't get a look in." Zara told him. It was a difficult position to get and that was no surprise. "How many people do you really think are going to back your ideas? People are happy as they are Matt." Zara said to him. He was just being stupid now and it was frustrating her.
"You can't force them. If someone disagrees with you that's their right." Zara said to him, looking appalled. "Some dreams should stay dreams." she muttered. Zara didn't really understand what was going on in his head.

He looked at her with a small smile on his face. "You do realize that by arguing you just give me more of a base to build off of. I'll make you a deal." he said simply. His hand on the table as he looked at her. "People are only happy the way they are because they haven't been able to see the bigger picture. Or see what more there is to the world and the ability to change it." he said as he looked at her

"Please don't say that. I'm not comfortable thinking I'm encouraging this." Zara said to him shortly. "I don't think I need to see the bigger picture. The sound of it doesn't appeal to me let alone seeing it happen." Zara said. She dropped her gaze from him and wanted to go back up to the castle realising perhaps that they were rather different.
